1.Description:
Description:
This daily-use ceramic impact testing instrument is used for impact
tests on the centers of flat tableware and concave vessels, as well
as impact tests on the edges of concave vessels. The impact test on
the edge of flat tableware involves either glazed or unglazed
samples. The impact test at the center of the vessel is used to
measure: 1. The energy of the initial strike that causes the
initial crack. 2. The energy required for complete breakage.
2.Standard:
GB/T 4742 - Method for Measuring Impact Toughness of Domestic
Ceramics, QB/T 1993-2012 "Test Method for Impact Resistance of
Ceramic Ware", and the American standard ASTM C 368 - Test Method
for Impact Resistance of Ceramic Ware.
