1. Description

The interior wall coatings in architectural coatings are often polluted by stains from daily necessities, and people often use some neutral detergents to scrub the coatings to remove the stains, so the coatings with good stain-resistant wiping performance are more and more favoured by people.

BGD 527 Stain Resistance Tester for Architectural Coatings is designed and manufactured according to the latest national standard GB/T9780-2013 Test Method for Stain Resistance of Architectural Coatings Coatings: The coating stain resistance is evaluated by the removal rate of the coating film stains, using stains as the source of contamination, and adhering to the coating test plate by dipping or scraping method. The staining resistance test is carried out with a specified load and number of times. The change of reflection coefficient before and after the test is used to evaluate the staining resistance of the coated test panels.

The apparatus is mainly used to evaluate the staining resistance of interior building wall coatings adhering to common household stains and scrubbed with neutral detergent. The main objective is to assess the ability of architectural interior paints to resist contamination by common household stains. At the same time, the setting and counting of the number of times of scrubbing are displayed on the LCD screen, which makes the whole test process clearer and more convenient for the operator.
